Consulting Principles

Reimbursement and pricing strategies need to be integral and dynamic parts of a life sciences company's business planning

Issues management and communications programs are essential parts of comprehensive marketing strategies

The effectiveness of issues management and marketing activities directly affects an organization's success in achieving its overall goals and objectives

Diverse audiences and customers -- such as physicians, patient groups, regulators, investors and the media -- create significant marketing challenges for life sciences organizations because each audience requires customized value messages and strategies

Public affairs issues create challenges and opportunities that require rapid responses

Medical innovations require integrated and targeted messages and campaigns to successfully communicate their value.

Messages and analyses integrating clinical and economic information enable healthcare organizations to make better management and financial decisions, resulting in improved outcomes

Helping organizations achieve their goals and objectives should be both rewarding and fun

About the Logo

The logo's shape represents the cyclical nature of marketing challenges and public affairs issues which repeatedly rise and fall like waves -- sometimes moving with you, and sometimes moving against you

The three waves represent the three fundamental questions that any communications strategy needs to address for it to be successful

The different transparencies of the logo's waves represent the varying degrees of visibility for public affairs and marketing activities, e.g. policy analysis is not very visible, alliance development and coalition building are more visible, and media coverage and testimony are very visible

The overlapping group of waves represents the communications principles of repetition and parallelism that help to create effective imagery and message traction
